Our growing company is seeking a responsible and reliable Development Operations Manager to oversee the internal operations of the Development team.
Our organization has an expanding database of 173,000 donors and $87 million in donor revenue, with over 270,000 transactions annually from more than 150 countries.
This position will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and vision of our company standards.
We are looking for an efficient individual who can work effectively both independently and as a team player.

$82,500 - $95,000 Responsibilities CRM Platform Serve as the product owner for our donor CRM, which includes managing technical maintenance, handling enhancement requests, implementing updates, and addressing fixes.
Act as the primary liaison between Come and See and the platform, collaborating with other third-party support groups as necessary (i.e., Servant, FundraiseUp). Responsible for onboarding staff for their respective roles and supporting users' ongoing proficiency as the team's CRM expert.
Keep the policies and procedures manual for CRM up to date.
Manage automation processes for teams, including overseeing all Development automations such as tasks, future touchpoints, etc.
Assist Donor Relations in maintaining constituent records within the database, ensuring all relevant data fields are accurately populated with available information.
Ensure that our donor platform accepts international currencies and payment methods for our global donors.
Data Management Oversee management of detailed donor records while ensuring the privacy of all constituents by upholding confidentiality policies.
Understand how systems function and implement changes as necessary to make sure the team fully utilizes database capabilities for retrieving and inputting information.
Conduct database maintenance to address duplicate records and State/Country codes.
Coordinate with Information Technology to ensure accurate data sharing across platforms, and notify stakeholders when procedures are updated.
Serve as the main contact for data services vendors.
Continuously pursue process improvement by proactively and consistently evaluating workflows to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and data integrity.
Deliver timely and accurate reports regularly and upon request to forecast and analyze fundraising, marketing, and data management.
Create and manage dashboards as requested by the executive team.
Collaborate with Development and Marketing to create real-time reports that indicate annual progress toward fundraising goals.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to monitor the data transfer between various finance systems, ensuring there are no data transfer issues.
Create outreach lists with the help of Donor Relations for events, memorial gifts, and stewardship initiatives.
Research both new and repeat donors while ensuring timely distribution of information.
Assess portfolio assignments as needed.
Maintain an organization-wide process for donor segmentation to ensure marketing effectiveness.
Optimize the prospect identification processes, including wealth screenings for constituent groups, and route them to the appropriate staff accordingly.
Conduct data assessments to support strategic moves-management of constituents.
Ensure that policies and procedures related to prospect management are documented, maintained, and understood by all stakeholders.
Gift Processing Collaborate with Finance to ensure the accurate processing, receipting, allocation, and reconciliation of philanthropic revenue in accordance with government guidelines.
Understand the different giving instruments for proper gift allocation (DAFs, IRAs, stock, matching gifts, wills/estates, international currencies, gift-in-kind, etc.). General Tasks Participate in scheduled and ad hoc meetings with the Development, Marketing, and Finance teams.
Be cross-trained to support other team members during peak times.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities while completing them on time with minimal oversight.
Strategic thinker adept at creative problem-solving of complex issues.
Extensive knowledge of prospect research and wealth screening platforms.
Ability to understand and apply international donation compliances, fundraising principles, and methodologies to all bodies of work.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in nonprofit fundraising.
Expertise in database management and project management.
Strong leadership and people management experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage and utilize databases, prior experience using a robust CRM system, Microsoft 365, and iWave preferred.
