Engineering Program Manager

Engineering Program Manager (12 month contract // Minneapolis, MN): Hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days in the office.

Top 3 Skills: Strong Project Management skills (fundamentals mastered, use of tools such as MS Project, ability to quickly organize and develop project plans). Familiarity with quality systems and developing project plans that ensure compliance and all deliverables are satisfied.

Strong experience managing projects related to sustaining projects and change impact evaluation (EU MDR Remediation, Manufacturing/Line Transfers, Product Design Changes, etc.). Experience with Medical Devices.

Programs to be managed: Complex Design Changes (active implantables and leads) driven by cost down, supplier exits, CAPA, etc.

Leading projects to maintain product EU MDR Compliance.

Manufacturing or Supplier Site Transfers.

Duties: Oversees operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.

Reviews status of projects and budgets; and prepares status reports.

Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Nice To Have: PMP certification.
