Oracle Retail Principal Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant who has experience of Oracle Retail applications. As a Principal Consultant, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit functional solutions for one or more projects; conduct Blueprinting/CRP sessions, develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on functional issues resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. You will design customizations, conversions, and interfaces as necessary. The position requires ability to produce technical and functional design documents. Ideal candidate will have a combination of technical and functional knowledge of the Oracle Retail applications (70% technical - 30% functional). May require extending expertise to other merchandise applications in retail domain as needed.

Required Qualifications

At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Irving, TX, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.

At least 5 years of in-depth experience in Oracle-Retail merchandise cloud applications

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - MFCS

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Operations Cloud Services - SIOCS

Oracle Retail Sales Audit Cloud Service - ReSA CS

Oracle Retail Pricing Cloud Service - RPMCS

Oracle Retail Invoice Matching Cloud Service - RPIMCS

Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Service - RICS

Experience in conducting blueprinting / CRP sessions, fit gap of customer's requirements with Oracle Retail cloud applications, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on functional issues resolution and execution

Design extensions, data mapping, conversion and migrations, and integration approach and strategy. Position requires ability to produce and review technical and functional design documents

Experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements and designing integration between Oracle Retail and other application in customer landscape

Ideal candidate will have a combination of technical and functional knowledge of the Oracle Retail applications (70% technical, 30% functional)

Collaborate with onshore and offshore talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions

Participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs

Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills, experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Effectively interact with interfacing organizations and work together as a team to deliver projects on time

Minimum 3 implementation cycle experience of Oracle Retail cloud applications

Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience of managing project / program is additional advantage

Technical Skills - APEX, Java, Unix

Knowledge of other domains of Retail e.g. Retail store, Retail planning

Knowledge of other application of Oracle-Retail e.g. Micros Xstore

Experience in Development/ Configuration/Solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment

Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel, relocation

Knowledge of integration technology/tool (DataStage, OSB, SOA etc.) will be additional advantage.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face
