Job Description

The Grant Compliance and Operations Manager reports directly to the President and CEO.

Grant Compliance and Operations Manager oversees and supervises the work of the staff and directs the day-to-day programmatic and operations of the organization as delegated by the President and CEO.

Create strategic and operational goals and objectives

Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff, volunteers, interns, VISTA members, etc.

Establishes high standards of conduct and job performance for team members; maintains open lines of communication; delegates work as appropriate and commits to lead by example.

Assist in the hiring and terminating processes for all program employees in accordance with Grace After Fire’s established policies.

Monitors, participates, and provides oversight in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of established programing, grant-funded programs, work plans, and day-to-day activities of Grace After Fire.

Set and monitor key performance indicators

Develops positive linkages between GAF and member organizations, partners, donors, and all stakeholders to ensure Veterans receive services as needed.

Maintains a positive and professional relationship with the President and CEO, Board of Directors, and all GAF staff.

Accomplishes tasks as assigned by the President and CEO.

Reviews all monthly reports requested from GAF staff, including Expense Reports and Time Sheets to include general assistance grant requests. These reports must be reviewed for accuracy and completion before being sent to the CEO for approval and processing.

Assists in the preparation of scheduled grant funded reports by providing requested information and submission of those reports as requested and when directed by the President and CEO.

Set and monitor key performance indicators

Maintains, creates, and executes a Monthly In-House Training/Cross Training schedule for all GAF staff members, VISTA members, and interns. This training can take place in one of the following ways (Conference Call, via Teams, In person, Webinar, etc.).

Assist in accounting processes and procedures.

Assist in new grant preparations and submittals.

Take and make phone calls with funders, donors, cooperation, and/or organizations as requested by the President and CEO.

Schedule and plan meetings as requested by President and CEO

Attend, join and/or sit in on meetings as requested by the President and CEO.

Assist with Board Meeting preparations.
