Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect with over 15 years of expertise in designing, developing, and implementing robust C# applications and systems. This role combines strategic system architecture, third-party integration design, and hands-on development to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, balances architectural vision with coding excellence, and drives innovation in our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

System Architecture & Design (40%):

Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems using C# and .NET technologies.

Design and implement third-party integrations (APIs, SaaS platforms, ERP & MES applications, etc.) to enhance system functionality.

Define technical standards, frameworks, and best practices for development teams.

Create detailed architectural blueprints, including microservices, cloud-native and server designs, and data models.

Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and vendors to optimize system performance and cost.

Hands-On Development (50%):

Lead by example through active coding, developing critical components, and prototyping solutions in C#/.NET Core.

Build and maintain high-quality, testable code for web, desktop, or cloud-based applications.

Implement complex business logic, data processing pipelines, and API endpoints.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt in production systems.

Collaboration & Leadership (10%):

Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, IS Team, and QA teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and coding best practices.

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 15+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 10 years focused on C# and .NET ecosystems.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET frameworks (NET, .NET Core).

Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party systems integrations.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Expertise in database design and optimization (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.

Architectural Skills: Proven track record of designing scalable, high-availability systems with third-party integrations.

Development Skills: Hands-on experience writing clean, maintainable, and performant code in C#.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and mentorship abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

May be required to obtain and maintain a DoD Personnel Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Vue.JS) for full-stack development.

Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, or Event Sourcing patterns.

Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
