Job Description

Position: IT Risk & Security Controls Analyst (Contract)

Location: Remote (Preference for Eastern or Central Time Zones)

Duration: 6 Months

Type: Contract (3 openings)

We are seeking experienced IT Risk & Security Controls Analysts to support our team on a 6-month contract basis. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and internal controls, with excellent communication and analytical skills.

HOURS/PAY

This role will work 8am-5pm EST and Pay will be $50 per hour and this role is Temporary for 6 months with probability for extension

Key Responsibilities:

Assess IT infrastructure including networks, servers, databases, and cloud environments.

Evaluate and document internal controls and security protocols.

Communicate effectively with IT teams, management, and external auditors.

Identify risks, analyze data, and recommend actionable solutions.

Prepare clear, concise reports on findings and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.

Familiarity with security frameworks and encryption techniques.

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to assess internal controls and business/technology risks.

High attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in technical audits.

Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or similar.

Knowledge of ISO standards.
