Hybrid SQL Database Administrator

Job Description

Full time direct hire job opening. No third part candidates, no sponsorship available. Looking for local Bilingual Spanish- English speaking professionals.

We are looking for a Senior MS SQL DBA who can keep our warehousing systems optimized, secure, and fast — because in our world, downtime isn't an option. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Administration and support of MS SQL databases, Crystal Reports and Power BI. Ability to speak conversational Spanish is highly desired.

Role & Responsibility:

Own the stability and performance of databases supporting our WMS.

Analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and procedures in a high-throughput warehouse environment.

Create reports using Crystal Reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Manage backup/restore procedures, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations

Work closely with infrastructure, app support, and operations to plan upgrades, patching, and performance tuning

Create proactive monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning dashboards

Provide expert-level support during incident triage and resolution

Help guide the evolution of our data layer as we scale operations

Your Toolbox:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience with MS SQL DBA responsibilities.

Expertise with MS SQL Administration, performance tuning, back-up, maintenance etc. Crystal Reports and Power BI skills are a plus.

Strong performance tuning skills and experience with execution plans/indexing.

Familiarity with wms systems.

Experience with monitoring tools.
