Direct Hire PositionWhat You'll Do:

As a Tool Maker, you will:

Plan, construct, modify, and repair parts and fixtures with precision.

Set up and operate manual and CNC machines, including EDM equipment.

Troubleshoot tools, conduct tryouts, and recommend improvements.

Work with engineering drawings and software to develop models and prototypes.

Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

Train and mentor junior team members.

Collaborate with the engineering team to suggest design enhancements.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

4+ years of manual machining experience in a job shop or machine shop.

Expertise in manual milling, boring, drilling, tapping, turning, and threading.

Someone who can jump in right away and hit the ground running in tool making

Skills:

Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic trigonometry.

Skilled in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to pass a written and practical Tool Maker test.
