Job Description – Manual Machinist
Responsibilities and Duties
Operation of manual machines, Bullard VTL, Horizontal Lathe, Bridgeport Mill, Radial Arm Drill; machining a variety of carbon stainless material/ products
Consistently ensure safe work practices
Effectively communicates with department supervisors.
Interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and other specifications.
Inspects parts, visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements
Troubleshoots and corrects problems in a timely manner
Ensure WO’s are charged with time to complete task for production
Ensure production targets are met hourly, daily, monthly, and annually
Crane and Forklift Operation
Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and well maintained
Identify opportunities for improvement and work with management to implement on an ongoing basis
Interact and maintain a positive working relationship with the Team
Comply with all processes and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO / API requirements
Complete any and all task assigned by Management to achieve the company goals
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
8-10+ years of manual machining experience preferred
