About The Position
Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: Permanent Shift: Days, Four-day work week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: New graduates welcome; board eligible or certified License: Ohio license required or willingness to obtain Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics, DEA, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - Willingness to perform required responsibilities with a 20-minute maximum response time to the hospital when on call. - Engagement in rounding on newborns, attending C-sections, and taking call for the practice and hospital. Job Description: - Opportunity to provide outpatient clinic care, round on newborns, and attend C-sections in a busy, growing practice. - Hospital-employed position with a four-day work week. - Practice consists of 4 physicians, 2 full-time CNPs, 2 part-time CNPs, 1 part-time behavioral health CNP, and a lactation consultant. - Call schedule is 1:4 with a 20-minute maximum response time. - Single hospital coverage with Level 1 nursery. - Approximately 400 births per year at the hospital's birth center. - Newborns are transported to children's hospitals if necessary. - This is the only pediatrics practice in a 20+ mile radius. - Opportunities for community involvement and activities. - Not accepting candidates with lapsed board certification. Candidates should be truly board eligible and working towards certification. - Open to visa candidates.
