Location and Work Arrangement

This role will be based in our Tupelo office. For candidates with 10+ years of experience, remote work options with occasional travel to our Tupelo location can be considered.

Your Contributions as an Electrical Controls Design Engineer

In this role, you will lead the design process for electrical control projects, from initial concepts through to detailed system designs tailored for our material handling clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical systems, including device placement, control panel layouts, and schematics.

Manage materials procurement, design networks, develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), and validate equipment.

Provide mentorship to fellow engineers and the Controls team.

Conduct site visits with up to 10% travel to customer locations.

Perform specification analyses.

Qualifications for Success

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Strong understanding of control and electrical system design principles.

Proficiency in reading electrical prints and drawings.

Experience with AutoCAD and technical writing.
