Practice Overview:
Independent inpatient and outpatient evaluation of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and Surgical Oncology patients
Coordination of patient care with multi-disciplinary team (i.e. Medical Oncology, Gastroenterology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Interventional Radiology)
Intra-operative first assist role: Laparoscopic, Robotic, and Open
Participation in Graduate Medical Education with General Surgery residents and medical students
Round daily at the hospital and be available for inpatient consults. Communicate with Surgeons on consults and coordination of care as appropriate
Outpatient clinic (AM and PM) two days per week.
Call would be one weekend per month, no weekdays.
EMR Platform (both IP and OP) is Epic
Collaborate with physicians, ultrasound technologists, and support staff to optimize clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in phlebology and minimally invasive vein treatments.
Working together with Advanced Practitioners like you:
Acute Care Certified Licensed Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
ACNP/AGACNP or PA candidates with 1-3 years of clinical experience as an APP required
Inpatient and general surgery experience to include Surgical Assist
Passion for quality and patient care
Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives
