What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across BAE Systems’ defense and technology portfolios. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote our products, services, and capabilities to key government and commercial stakeholders.
You will drive demand generation campaigns, manage digital and traditional marketing initiatives, and help shape messaging that reflects BAE Systems’ mission and value proposition. The ideal candidate brings creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution skills in a highly technical and regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives and target audiences
Lead brand positioning efforts and ensure consistency in messaging across all channels
Collaborate with product, business development, and communications teams to craft compelling content and campaigns
Manage digital marketing programs, including SEO/SEM, paid media, email marketing, and social media
Oversee the creation of collateral, presentations, and sales enablement tools for internal and external use
Analyze campaign performance metrics and use data to refine strategies and improve ROI
Organize and support participation in industry events, trade shows, and customer engagement activities
Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure all marketing materials meet regulatory standards
Supervise vendors, creative agencies, and contractors as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in defense, aerospace, or technology sectors
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a sharp eye for detail
Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment
U.S. Citizenship may be required due to the nature of our projects
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree or MBA
Familiarity with government contracting and B2G marketing approaches
Experience with event management and field marketing
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics platforms
Understanding of cybersecurity, aerospace, or defense technologies
Compensation and Benefits:
BAE Systems offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation package, including:
Base Salary: $100,000 – $145,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
Performance-based bonuses and equity programs (where applicable)
