CNC Machinist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork and collaboration skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Akron, NY

Pay Range: $26.91

Hours: 7am-330PM

What's the Job?

Perform setups according to program directives, ensuring proper alignment of parts.

Interpret drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine operation sequences.

Set up and operate both CNC and manual machines simultaneously.

Check and inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Collaborate with team members to standardize work processes and procedures.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent.

One to two years of experience in Mill Machining or equivalent educational/training certificate.

Experience in rigging and overhead cranes.

Knowledge of GD&T is a requirement.

Ability to work with both metric and imperial measurements.
