Job Summary

ACT is seeking aCAD Designerresponsible for developing complex electronic equipment to meet customer and ACT specifications. We have a strong mentorship program and believe strongly in collaboration between all departments and career development.

Must Have Qualifications

Associate's degree in CAD or two year technical school in mechanical design or commensurate applicable experience and education

A working knowledge of or demonstrated interest in gaining knowledge of ASME Y14.100M: Engineering Drawing Practice and ASME14.5: Dimensioning and Tolerance

Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel), AutoCAD Design Suite (Inventor), and ERP systems with a willingness to learn new systems highly desired

Strong communication skills, to be able to interact with interdepartmental personnel and customers

Math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions sufficient for dimensioning with math associated with electronic circuit theory preferred

Good organizational skills, self-motivated, creative, strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to learn

Experience in working with complex electronics preferred
