Senior AutoCAD Drafter (Cabinet & Millwork)

We specialize in high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork for both residential and commercial projects.

With a focus on craftsmanship and precision, we are dedicated to delivering outstanding products to our clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior AutoCAD Drafter to join our team and support the design and production of detailed cabinet and millwork shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities:-

Create detailed digital drawings for custom cabinetry, millwork, and other architectural elements.

Develop accurate and comprehensive shop drawings, ensuring all designs are ready for production.

Work closely with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

Review and interpret design specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements.

Modify and update existing drawings to accommodate changes and revisions.

Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation for easy access and reference.

Ensure drawings meet quality standards and are compliant with industry regulations.

Collaborate with other team members to solve technical design issues and optimize production efficiency.

Qualifications:-

Proficiency in AutoCAD, with a strong focus on 2D drafting and creating shop drawings.

At least 3 years of experience in drafting for cabinetry, millwork, or similar industries.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting and graphic communication.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

Deadline oriented with ability to manage time.

Preferred Skills:-

Experience with 3D modeling (Boolean)is a plus.

Experience with parametric modeling (Revit, etc) is a plus.

Experience with specialized cabinet software (Microvellum, Homag iX/Imos, Cabinet Vision, etc) is a plus.

Knowledge of cabinet hardware, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Understanding of cabinet construction, joinery, and millwork components.

Experience with preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication documents.

A background in woodworking or cabinetry is a plus.
