Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Schneider Programmer Analyst to join our team in Thousand Oaks, CA. In this role, you will design and implement control systems, develop graphical user interfaces, and integrate multiple systems to ensure seamless communication and functionality. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in automation, system troubleshooting, and network coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement control algorithms, download source code to controllers, manage system databases, and design animated graphical user interfaces.

• Integrate multiple systems by ensuring different protocols interact effectively and share information, creating a unified front-end experience.

• Conduct project start-ups, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for control and mechanical systems.

• Coordinate network layouts, IP addresses, and monitoring tools with customers’ IT departments.

• Collaborate with equipment vendors to establish communication protocols, encryption standards, and database requirements.

• Analyze system operations through semi-complex reports, demonstrating functionality and ensuring alignment with project specifications.

• Participate in final inspections, testing, and customer training to ensure proper system usage and acceptance.

• Provide detailed plans and control system documentation for application engineering to create accurate as-built drawings.

• Mentor team members by sharing expertise in automation and product-specific knowledge.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Schneider Electric systems.

• Strong working knowledge of automation systems and troubleshooting techniques.

• Ability to diagnose issues related to computers and controllers.

• Basic understanding of IP networks and their functionalities.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Java and C++ is preferred.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and control systems like BACnet, LonWorks, Tridium, Honeywell Webs, and others is a plus.
