Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across various systems and platforms. You must be able to work quickly without compromising accuracy and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update data into internal databases, spreadsheets, or CRM systems with speed and accuracy
Review data for errors or missing information and correct any incompatibilities
Verify and validate data by comparing it to source documents
Maintain data integrity and ensure proper backup procedures are followed
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Generate reports and summaries as needed
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
Follow data privacy and confidentiality policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Workspace, or relevant data software
Fast typing skills (40+ WPM) with excellent accuracy
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with administrative duties
Preferred Qualifications:
