Software Engineer - Level 3 - TS/SCI Clearance

Job Description

Elucidation Concepts is seeking a highly experienced and cleared Software Engineer (SWE) to support mission-critical programs of significant scope, complexity, and impact. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in software development with deep experience in complex system architectures and large-scale data processing. This role requires 20 years of relevant experience, strong technical acumen, and the ability to work in a high-security environment.

**TS/SCI Clearance + Polygraph Required**

Qualifications:

A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Note: Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.

Required Technical Experience:

At least six (6) years of demonstrated experience (within the most recent eight years) developing production software for Solaris or Linux operating systems.

A minimum of six (6) years of experience developing software using Java, C, or C++.

Demonstrated experience developing RESTful services.

Desired Experience:

Development and integration of voice or video processing systems, including ingest of multiple audio/video formats, end-user playback, storage, and retrieval.

Systems supporting average ingest, storage, and retrieval of 500GB/day or more of multilingual text content.

Experience with distributed peer-to-peer content storage and retrieval systems with more than 500 nodes.

Proficiency in metadata indexing, metadata summarization, content and metadata mining, and advanced visualization and analytics techniques.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
