Cloud Software Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance

Job Description

Elucidation Concepts is seeking a highly skilled and cleared Cloud Software Engineer to design and deploy cutting-edge analytic software within a big-data cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, deep understanding of scalable cloud platforms, and a passion for developing automated, AI-enabled analytics that drive mission success in high-security environments.

**Active TS/SCI Clearance + Polygraph required**

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop automated analytic software, algorithms, and techniques for processing massive, complex data sets (e.g., 1B+ rows or 10+ PB).

Implement and deploy analytics in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, and other scalable platforms.

Create analytics that integrate multi-media data types (text, speech, image, video) and leverage foreign language processing.

Build semantic and inference-based models that establish relationships between structured and unstructured data.

Develop analytics using AI techniques, including but not limited to genetic algorithms.

Document and manage ontologies, data models, formats, schema, API specifications, and data dictionaries.

Construct taxonomies for analytic domains and knowledge areas.

Deploy analytics that identify and exploit social networks and latent patterns across data sets.

Work within heterogeneous schema environments and ensure integration across diverse data architectures.

Apply linguistic expertise in grammar, morphology, and semantic concepts to analytic processes.

Required Qualifications:

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with current polygraph.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems).

A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience; a Master’s degree may substitute for four (4) years.

Certifications:

Must possess at least one of the following:

AWS Certified Developer – Associate

AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional

Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Elastic Certified Engineer

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with cloud scalability concepts as employed by leading platforms (e.g., Amazon, Google, Facebook).

Proficiency in developing analytics that function across diverse and massive-scale data sets.

Knowledge of foreign language processing and linguistics applied in analytical contexts.

Demonstrated ability to build, document, and maintain complex ontologies and data specifications.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
