SUMMARY

Finestkind Brewing, the proud brewers of Smuttynose beer and Island District, is looking to add to their amazing Event staff. The Event Bartender will work at our various events filling drink orders while engaging with our guests to ensure a memorable experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Smile! You will be welcoming guests to the brewery

Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for event guests.

Engage with guests to create a positive event experience

Make recommendations and answer all related inquiries

Take drink orders and serve event guests

Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age and is a valid license

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company's guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department

Process orders and payments through the POS system

Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally

Stay guest focused at all times and nurture an excellent guest experience

Comply with all beverage regulations

Comply with all company polices and guidelines

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing any related tasks as needed

Other duties assigned by management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

Friendly outgoing demeanor

Exceptional customer service skills

Problem solving and decision-making skills

Organized

Knowledge of standard bar equipment

Night and weekend availability are a must

Ability to stand for entire shift

Responsible and trustworthy

Able to lift up to 50lbs

A minimum of one-year experience in events and bartending

Knowledge of the beer industry is preferred

Neat appearance
