Responsibilities:
• Break down the weld work packages and prepare them for submission to the fabrication shop floor.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Program Managers, Foreman, Supervisors and fabricators to ensure accurate interpretation of work package, blueprints and specifications.
• Will receive and build work packages in accordance to weld sequence and fit sequence.
• Will play a role in maintaining the project schedule.
• Addressing any issues or concerns with shop floor and/or engineering.
• Manage project-related paperwork, ensuring all necessary documents are consistent and organized to project requirements.
• Will communicate and collaborate with Engineers, Program Managers, Foreman, Supervisors to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Maintaining weld records and blueprints/schematics.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with and knowledge of weld symbols.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office – strong experience in MS Excel, Smartsheet exp. preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
