Structural Designer/SP3D

Long term contract role in Houston, Texas (Could turn direct after 6 months)

SP3D/S3D is a must!

10-25 +years of experience in structural design including 3D modeling with structural software and developing structural steel, concrete and foundation drawings.

10+ years of Oil, Gas & Chemical plant design experience is required.

Structural modeling experience using Smart 3D (S3D) / (previously known as SmartPlant SP3D), and use of SmartSketch is required.

AutoCAD proficiency is required.

Experience leading a group of designers and ability to check their work to ensure high quality deliverables is preferred.

Able to produce preliminary structural designs with limited input from a design engineer.
