Quality Control Technician

Tanis Concrete Inc. is dedicated to enhancing and improving the performance of concrete. Quality Control personnel monitor the quality of all aggregates, cement, and admixtures that go into making each yard of concrete. A fully automated batching system ensures consistency in batching and adherence to mix design requirements. Quality Control personnel regularly visit sites to observe product placement and assist contractors with mix design requirements.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Technician at Tanis Concrete Inc. in Fair Lawn, NJ. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of aggregates, cement, and admixtures used in concrete production. Daily tasks include conducting quality assurance tests, maintaining lab equipment, and analyzing results to maintain consistent quality standards.

Qualifications

Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills

Analytical and Laboratory Skills

Experience working with Laboratory Equipment

Knowledge of concrete mix design and testing methods

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Certification in Quality Control or related field is a plus
