ProCare Therapy is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to work in a school based setting. This role is perfect for a skilled interpreter who is passionate about supporting students with hearing impairments by providing essential communication services in an educational setting. This position offers competitive compensation of $35 and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences.

Position Details:

Contract Type: Full-time

Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Caseload: K-12 students

Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpretation services for K-12 students during classroom instruction, school activities, and meetings.

Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers to ensure full participation in educational activities.

Accurately interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa.

Adapt interpreting methods to meet the needs of individual students based on their IEPs.

Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student success.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpreting services.

Requirements:

A minimum of a 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score.

Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter(if applicable).

Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
