Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the 2nd shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You will be working with aerospace parts and clamps for other CNC machines, focusing on production parts consisting of numerous small components.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC mill and lathe machines in a production facility.
Handle cutting tools such as drills, end mills, inserts for lathes, and taps.
Utilize precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and small hole gages.
Ensure quality by reading and interpreting blueprints and performing quality inspections.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.Essential Skills
Technical degree in an area of specialty or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in operating CNC equipment.
Knowledge of cutting and precision measuring tools.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in basic math.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
Experience in change overs, setups, and machine operating.Work Environment
You will be working in a dynamic production facility, requiring physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking, grasping, and feeling. The role demands close visual acuity and involves exposure to noise, hazards, and oils. You must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MissouriPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
