This is the operation supervisor for MRI at Mount Carmel East hospital.

Position Purpose:

The MRI Supervisor is Responsible for the daily operation of the MRI department including: performing MRI procedures, manpower utilization quality of patient care delivery, cost effective utilization of available resources.

What you will do:

Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.

Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.

Responsible for implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements for MRI.

Performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks and direct patient care activities requiring independent judgment and initiative.

What we are looking for:

Education: Graduate of approved Radiologic Technology Program

Licensure / Certification: Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid State of Ohio Radiological license required. MRI Certification preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two years experience as a staff radiographer required.

Prior work experience in a hospital environment, specifically in fluoroscopic and emergency services. Recent and relevant supervisory experience in Diagnostic Radiology, preferred.

Current CPR certification required.
