Join Our Team as a Finishing Painter!

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and no weekends!

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.70 per hour

Use handheld sanders to smooth and finish doors and molding.

Apply paint or coatings in a spray booth and use an oven to cure or dry the coatings.

Regularly clean and check equipment for proper functioning and report issues to maintenance.

Inspect control samples to ensure correct color of coatings on materials.

Ensure proper storage and handling of painted materials to maintain quality and safety.

Use spray equipment to apply paint or coatings to various surfaces.

Perform test runs to verify that equipment is set up correctly.

Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and goggles to protect against inhaling fumes and encountering hazardous materials.

Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure high-quality application. Monitor drying processes to ensure proper curing of painted surfaces.

Package finished products carefully to avoid damage during transport.

Clean machines, equipment, and work areas using water, solvents, and other cleaning aids.What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in roles related to painting, coating, or similar manufacturing or production roles is preferred.

Knowledge of painting or coating application techniques and quality control processes.

Strong attention to detail to inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a high-quality finish.

Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or processes.

Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.

Effective time management skills to meet production deadlines.

Effective communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with team members.Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Regularly standing for extended periods, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms.

Regularly working near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

Working in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

Ability to lift weight or exert force regularly up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to or more than 100 pounds.Benefits:
