A leading architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to join their team in Trevose, PA. This high-impact role is ideal for a technically proficient, field-experienced professional with 5+ years of experience in the rehabilitation and renovation of existing structures, particularly in residential and low-rise commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Technical Leadership
Lead structural engineering projects from evaluation through final deliverables
Perform field assessments, site inspections, and forensic investigations of existing structures
Develop detailed construction drawings, technical reports, and recommendations for repair or rehabilitation
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide structural support during construction
Coordinate efforts across disciplines (architecture, MEP, civil) to ensure integrated project delivery
Client & Team Collaboration
Serve as a trusted resource for property owners, design professionals, and contractors
Attend site visits, client meetings, and presentations to communicate structural findings and recommendations
Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing when applicable
Required Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) specializing in Structural Engineering
5+ years of experience in residential, multi-family, or low-rise commercial structures
Strong expertise in existing building evaluation, renovation, rehabilitation, and forensic assessments
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
OSHA-10 Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Bonus Experience
Experience with wood-framed construction, decks, balconies, and structural repairs
Familiarity with AIA contract documents and construction administration procedures
Comfortable in client-facing roles, with the ability to manage projects independently
