Machine Operator Opportunity in Laurinburg, NC

Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Machine Operators to join our growing operation. You must be meticulous and ensure accuracy to prevent production errors and delays. Candidates should have previous machine operating in a manufacturing setting or textile machine experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for operation

• Start machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance

• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions

• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance

• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor

• Working in warehouse conditions to include hot and cold temps

• Maintain neat, clean, and organized creel area to support safety and efficiency

• Take direction from the Filament Supervisor and adapt to changing production needs

• Accurately follow written and verbal instructions related to product setup

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Solid work history that demonstrates reliability

• Prior experience in textile manufacturing or machine operating in manufacturing facility

• Strong reading comprehension and ability to interpret production documents accurately

• Willingness to work up to 8 hours per shift early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary.

• Able to work in a team

• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour, 3rd shift 11pm-7am

• Physical ability to stand, bend, lifting up to 50lbs., and move frequently throughout the shift.
