The Advance Group has partnered with a Toledo, OH facility in need of a Quality Control Auditor to make custom glassware.

Responsibilities for the Quality Control Auditor:

Perform visual inspections of printed glassware (e.g., mugs, pint glasses, wine glasses) to check for decal placement, color accuracy, and print quality.

Verify that products meet established specifications, including alignment, spacing, opacity, and registration of decals.

Measure and document defects, such as misprints, smudging, bubbles, or inconsistencies in coating or glass quality.

Approve or reject finished goods based on quality standards and communicate results to production and management teams.

Accurately complete quality control checklists, audit forms, and reports.

Monitor the production line for recurring issues and provide immediate feedback to operators and supervisors.

Assist in training production staff on quality expectations and proper handling techniques.

Ensure proper packaging and labeling of approved products to prevent post-production damage.

Maintain a clean and organized inspection area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.

Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation for the Quality Control Auditor:

Starting pay is $17/hr Hours for the Quality Control Auditor:

Training will be Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm for 1-2 months

Once trained, your schedule would be Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm Requirements of Quality Control Auditor candidates:

High school diploma or GED

Prior experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, experience with printed products or glassware is a plus.

Strong attention to detail with excellent visual acuity.

Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Basic math and computer skills for recording and tracking inspection data.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Willingness to work in a production environment with varying temperatures and occasional glass breakage.

Team player mentality

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs repeatedly

Able to work in a hot environment
