Pay Range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr
BASIC FUNCTION
The Human Resources Administrator supports the HR team and field leadership by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee data, maintaining compliance with employment regulations, and providing administrative support across key HR functions. This role is responsible for tasks related to onboarding, employee record management, system troubleshooting, compensation updates, and compliance follow-up with field leadership. The HR Administrator plays a vital role in promoting operational efficiency, data integrity, and a positive employee experience.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Approve hire tasks and assist with HR-related emails and phone inquiries
Review and follow up on background checks to ensure timely processing
Troubleshoot issues within the Workday HRIS system
Conduct wage analysis for new and existing site locations
Order and track required labor law posters for new sites
Ensure I-9 compliance by contacting Site Leaders via phone and email
Perform weekly audits of new hires to confirm onboarding completion
Process compensation changes and data updates within the HRIS
Review and approve employee data changes for accuracy and compliance
Complete and distribute termination notices
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources, talent acquisition, or employee data administration
Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Customer-service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-through
Comfortable making phone calls to follow up with field leaders and resolve compliance-related matters
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, systems, and company policies
