Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters in Hooksett, NH / Hybrid
What You'll Do
Prepare annual financial statements, including footnotes and disclosures
Manage monthly financial statements, with a strong focus on securitization accounting
Ensure bank covenant compliance through detailed reporting and loan agreement reviews
Lead the automation of reporting using Planful
Research and interpret accounting standards, preparing internal white papers as needed
Assist in tax reporting and support annual filings
Contribute to special projects and ensure compliance with US GAAP
Support the annual audit process
What We're Looking For
Five or more years of experience in public/private accounting and financial management
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience preparing financial statements
Securitization experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools like Planful
Ability to analyze large data sets and streamline processes
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred, MBA or MSA a plus)
