Bondurant-Farrar CSD is seeking a Lead Custodian for the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate will ideally fulfill both the Building Lead role and the Lead District Custodian (Anticipated) position Job Description Attached Here
Salary Range:
Building Lead: $17-19/hour
Building + District Lead: Minimally $21/hour, commensurate with experience

Scope: To provide safe, sanitary and well-kept grounds and facilities throughout
the district for students, staff and public
Reports to: Buildings/Grounds Director and Support Services Director
Requirements: High School diploma; Knowledge of general cleaning, procedures, products and equipment; Knowledge of workplace hazardous materials information
Performance Responsibilities:
Clean and care for buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner
Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of students, staff and the community
Perform building maintenance where needed
Assist teaching staff, coaches, adult education, and building rental groups in operation of school activities
Assist in maintaining boiler and heating systems
Read and understand labels and instructions especially in regards to cleaning chemicals and products
Responsible for the security and safety of the building
Ability to work with little or no supervision and adjust to unexpected situations
On-call for emergency situations
Ability to work in a team environment with staff, students, and the community
Perform other related duties as required
Term of Employment: As determined by the District
Salary and Benefits: As per negotiated letter of agreement
Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on classified evaluations
