Curriculum Support Specialist - High School - Math

THIS IS A 5 DAY EMERGENCY POSTING PURPOSE/GOAL: The Curriculum Support Specialist (CSS)- Math supports curriculum-related activities for the department in Grades 8 - 12.

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified teacher Current Mathematics teacher 8-12 preferred POSITION DUTIES: Plan and facilitate content professional development time for English in Grades 8 - 12 according to the published District PD Calendar Support curriculum implementation and development Support teachers to administer the MAP assessment to grades 8 and 9 and subsequent data analysis Communicate between the department, Curriculum Coordinator, and BMHS administration Support the development of the 2026-2027 Program of Studies and course schedule Support and inform purchasing of necessary materials from the department budget with guidance from the principal Provide general support to the Math department Attend the Grade 7 Parent evening event (Spring) and speak about the department COMPENSATION: CSS will be paid according to the teacher contract Article 27 and Appendix D Except in cases of severe emergency, CSS shall not be used as substitutes Except in case of an emergency, CSS non-teaching time shall be devoted to department work
