The Opportunity:
The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of multiple applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring technical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be able to:
Support production environment during normal hours, off -hours and weekends. Candidate must be willing to provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
Maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
Qualifications:
Required:
BS degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc) and 1-4 years of database experience.
Ability to write SQL scripts.
Desired:
Knowledge of database technology.
Knowledge of database tasks including backup, restore, refresh, and patching.
Knowledge of Windows Server databases.
Knowledge of basic Linux O/S, commands, and scripting

The proposed salary range for this position is: $72,700 - $149,200
