Salary:
UpSlope Advisors is seeking a highly skilled and creativeGraphic Designer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for managing creative projects from concept through completion, preparing high-quality print and web-ready materials, and supporting cross-functional teams with visually impactful deliverables. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional design skills, technical production knowledge, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into strategic, creative outcomes.
This role involves directing the design and layout of a variety of materials including brochures, reports, posters, websites, digital newsletters, banners, and booth displays. The ideal candidate is also comfortable providing creative direction and quality assurance while overseeing the output of junior designers or external vendors when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares design files for both print and digital production including:
Films, custom illustrations, blue lines, and match prints
Layouts tailored to printing specifications and presses
File corrections (e.g., missing images, font issues, color correction, photo manipulation)
Performs and leads quality assurance reviews on all visual outputs
Manages and executes projects for:
Printed materials (e.g., brochures, posters, magazines, reports)
Digital assets (e.g., websites, e-newsletters, banner ads)
Event collateral (e.g., booth graphics and displays)
Leads creative development from marketing strategy to final deliverables
Directs creative teams in producing visual materials for advertising, public relations, outreach, and general marketing campaigns
Ensures brand consistency, accessibility, and design excellence across all channels
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional design and production experience across both print and digital media
Software Proficiency:
Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Microsoft PowerPoint
Flash (preferred or foundational knowledge)
Security and Access Requirements:
Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
