Acara Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for our client in Grapeland, TX!
In this role, you will be responsible for designing open web steel joists and ensuring that all products meet the design requirements for a wide range of projects.
We are seeking qualified candidates who are excited about the opportunity to: Be part of a growing company that values teamwork, innovation, and career growth Create precise, custom steel joist designs that support diverse and high-impact construction projectsCollaborate daily with a skilled, supportive team in a dynamic work environment Here's what you'll do: Perform design work in accordance with industry standards and company manufacturing processes.Review contract documents, including structural drawings, architectural drawings, and project specifications.Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teammates during project design and development.Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including other design professionals.Promote company products to specifiers and at conventions.Assist junior engineers and interns.Safety is the most important aspect of all positions; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards always.
Position Type: Direct Placement Salary: Up to $110K/yr.
