A Branch Manager directs, promotes, and coordinates operations in a manner that will promote teamwork, optimize sales, increase market share, realize cost savings, improve cooperative efficiency, and help achieve the mission and goals of the company, while maintaining outstanding customer service. The Branch Manager is a servant leader that coaches and leads his/her sales team. The individual typically works under self-direction and expected to work long hours, and subject to working weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Monitors and maintains the entire Branch (operations, sales, dispatch, transportation, and maintenance).
Monitors the overall sales revenue for the entire branch, as well as each individual salesperson.
Monitors the day-to-day business activities of his/her entire sales team.
Audits and ensures that all personnel have received proper training.
Maintains compliance with SOP’s.
Compliance with On/Off rent procedures.
Ensures proper maintenance of equipment.
Asset Management.
Vendor Management.
Reports and monitors Branch P&L.
Conducts performance reviews.
Assists with the advertising and promotion at the Branch level.
Negotiates contracts and blanket orders.
Assists in the hiring and firing of personnel.
Reward/Disciplinary action program.
Wage and bonus recommendations.
Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all Safety procedures, including all Company rules and regulations.

Essential:

· Prefer candidates with at least an associate degree.
· Prefer candidates with at least 5 years of management experience in a busy office setting.
· Previous experience with transportation, heavy equipment, or the crane and hoisting industry is an asset.
