We’re looking for a Senior Operations Associate in Hong Kong to oversee all aspects of the equities post-trade lifecycle, from trade capture through to settlement and reconciliation.
Your future role within QRT includes:
Manage the full post-trade lifecycle for equities trades, including trade booking, amendments, and break resolution.
Review and validate daily reconciliations (cash, positions, trades) across internal systems and external counterparties, identifying and resolving exceptions proactively.
Monitor and process corporate actions.
Handle margin calls and collateral requirements in coordination with the Treasury team and prime brokers.
Act as a key liaison between the Trading Desk, Treasury, Compliance, COO team, Fund Administrators, Prime Brokers, and Execution Brokers, ensuring seamless flow of information and operational efficiency.
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades, resolving any trade or settlement discrepancies.
Support the implementation of process improvements and control enhancements within the equities operations workflow.
Your present skillset:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
8+ years’ experience in trade support, middle office, or post-trade operations, preferably within a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment bank.
Strong working knowledge of equities products including the full trade lifecycle to settlement including corporate actions.
Experience interacting with prime brokers, execution brokers, and fund administrators.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions and with stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
A high degree of ownership and initiative, with a process-driven mindset.
