General Manager Essential Functions:

Profit & performance:Manage your location P&L and drive margin across sales, parts, and service.

People & culture:Build, coach, and align a team around service excellence and accountability.

Customer relationships:Solve high-level customer challenges, manage escalations, and lead from the front.

Operational efficiency:Maintain a professional facility, secure property, and streamline workflow.

Strategic collaboration:Work across locations to align with company-wide initiatives and leadership goals.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience required.

Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.

Experience dealing with elevated customer issues.

Ability to lead and motivate others.

Knowledge of financial metrics, marketing experience, and a solid understanding of sales, parts, and service operations.

Solid analytical, business planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills.

Exceptional people management skills.

Strong problem-solving and organization skills.

Technical capacity and ability to use Microsoft Office and our business systems.

Physical Demands:

Sitting for extended periods.

Operation of a personal computer.

Hearing ability adequate to communicate by telephone and in person.

Vision adequate to operate a computer, telephone, and oversee branch operations.

Ability to travel when necessary.
