Delta Air Lines is seeking a highly
experienced **Learning Professional** to spearhead the technical management, optimization, and
strategic evolution of our LMS Platform (SuccessFactors). This role is central
to our technical and operational transformation, ensuring our learning
ecosystem effectively supports the continuous skilling and development of
Delta’s employees. This role will be the primary
technical owner for SuccessFactors Learning, responsible for its configuration,
maintenance, integrations, reporting, and ensuring its alignment with emerging
L&D technologies and best practices. This role will champion system
integrity, drive user adoption, and leverage data analytics to enhance the
learning experience and demonstrate ROI.
**KeyResponsibilities:**
**LMS Administration & Governance (SuccessFactorsLearning):**
+ Serve as the primary system administrator andtechnical subject matter expert for SuccessFactors Learning, including managingsystem configurations, security protocols, user roles, and permissions.
+ Oversee routine maintenance, releasemanagement (preview/production), instance refresh processes, and implementsystem enhancements in line with vendor updates and organizational needs.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive LMSgovernance documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and bestpractice guides.
+ Manage and troubleshoot data integrationsbetween SuccessFactors Learning and other enterprise systems (e.g.,SuccessFactors BizX/EDW, SailPoint, BI tools), leveraging APIs and standardconnectors.
+ Ensure data integrity within the LMS throughregular audits, data cleansing initiatives, and proficient use of dataimport/export tools (including understanding of the SuccessFactors Learningdata dictionary and table structures for custom reporting and troubleshooting).
**TechnicalSolutioning & Platform Optimization:**
+ Identify, evaluate, and implement technicalsolutions to enhance LMS functionality, user experience, and efficiency, suchas AI-driven learning recommendations, mobile accessibility, and personalizedlearning paths.
+ Partner with IT, HR Technology, and L&Dstakeholders to define business requirements, translate them into technicalspecifications, and configure the LMS to meet evolving needs.
+ Lead troubleshooting efforts for complexsystem issues, defects, and escalations, performing root cause analysis andimplementing sustainable solutions.
+ Stay current with SuccessFactors Learningroadmap, new features, and emerging L&D technologies (e.g., AI, LXPcapabilities, xAPI, learning analytics platforms) to provide strategicrecommendations for platform evolution.
**Reporting,Analytics & Insights:**
+ Develop and manage a robust reporting strategyfor learning data, utilizing standard SuccessFactors reporting tools (e.g.,People Analytics, People Story, SQL, Tableau, and PRD - Plateau ReportDesigner) and BI solutions where applicable.
+ Create and maintain dashboards and datavisualizations to provide actionable insights into learning engagement,effectiveness, compliance, and ROI for L&D leaders and businessstakeholders.
+ Proactively analyze learning data to identifytrends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in learning programs andplatform utilization.
**StakeholderCollaboration & Support:**
+ Act as a key liaison between the L&D team,IT departments, HR partners, and external vendors for all LMS-related matters.
+ Provide expert consultation and support tolearning administrators, instructional designers, and content owners on LMSfunctionalities and best practices.
+ Develop and deliver training and supportmaterials for end-users and administrators to ensure effective utilization ofthe LMS.
+ Participate in cross-functional projects,representing L&D technology needs and ensuring seamless integration oflearning solutions.
**Compliance& Security:**
+ Ensure the LMS environment and processescomply with Delta’s data security, privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), andaccessibility (e.g., WCAG) policies and relevant regulations.
+ Manage systemsecurity, user access, and data privacy in alignment with corporate standards.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ 7+ years ofprogressive experience as an LMS Administrator, with at least 5+ yearsspecifically focused on SAP SuccessFactors Learning module administration in alarge enterprise environment.
+ Deep understandingof SuccessFactors Learning architecture, data model, configuration options(system admin, content, user, security, etc.), and integration capabilities(e.g., OData APIs, SFTP, connectors).
+ Proven experiencewith SuccessFactors quarterly releases, testing, and change management.
+ Proficiency increating complex reports and dashboards using SuccessFactors reporting tools(ORD/Canvas, People Analytics, PRD) and familiarity with data visualizationbest practices.
+ Strong experiencewith data migration, data management (including mass uploads/updates), andtroubleshooting data issues within SuccessFactors Learning.
+ Demonstrated abilityto translate business requirements into technical solutions within an LMS.
+ Excellentproblem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with a strongattention to detail.
+ Proven ability tomanage multiple priorities, work independently, and lead projects in afast-paced, matrixed organization.
+ Exceptionalcommunication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability toexplain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization towork in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or a related field. (not required)
+ Experience withother SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Talent,People Analytics, SAP Work Zone) and their integration points with Learning.
+ Knowledge oflearning industry standards such as SCORM, AICC, xAPI.
+ Experience withLearning Experience Platforms (LXPs) and their integration with LMS.
+ Experience in theairline industry or a similarly complex, regulated global organization.
+ Demonstrated project management skills.
+ Current SAP SuccessFactors Learning certification (e.g.,HR861_xxxx or similar).
