Duties
Operate CNC Lathes and/or CNC Mills to fabricate parts according to specifications.
Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Perform quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products.
Collaborate with engineering and management teams to improve machining processes and implement new techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
5+ years of CNC machining experience on both lathes and mills
G-Code knowledge – Comfortable making edits and adjustments on the machine.
Blueprint interpretation – Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
Tight tolerance expertise – Hold 0.0005” tolerances with consistency and precision.
Proficiency with measuring tools – Confidently use calipers, micrometers, indicators, plug and ring gauges.
Strong troubleshooting skills – Quickly diagnose and resolve machining issues.
Safety-first mindset – Committed to safe machine operation and shop practices.
Multi-tasking ability – Manage multiple machine processes simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated & team player – Work independently while contributing to a collaborative shop culture.
Adaptability & flexibility – Willing to adjust workflow and priorities to meet customer deadlines.
Physically capable – Able to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
