Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer V develops, reviews, and evaluates manufacturing processes, working closely with the engineering and production teams on product design, testing, and tooling to ensure that manufacturing goals are achieved safely and efficiently. This role will have a major focus on RF SoC Technology and processes to comply with MIL-PRF-38534/5, with primary emphasis on die bonding, wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, ceramic and soft substrate integration, chip and wire assembly, hybrid microcircuits, and thin and thick film assembly.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement manufacturing processes related to assembly and automation.
Strong emphasis on die bonding, wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, ceramic and soft substrate integration, chip and wire assembly, hybrid microcircuits, thin and thick film assembly.
Develop, build, and refine production/manufacturing engineering processes, partnering with engineering and production teams on product design and tooling to ensure efficient production processes.
Establish manufacturing and assembly processes for new production programs.
Determine the manufacturing processes required to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
Evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, test, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Establish manufacturing and assembly processes to comply with MIL-PRF-38534/5.
Work with engineering and production teams on product design and tooling to ensure efficient production processes.
Improve and incorporate package design guidelines for ease of assembly and/or manufacturability, including heterogeneous package technology.
Help develop, evaluate, and deliver innovative solutions to improve process capability, production volume, and manufacturing quality while reducing costs.
Participate in company meetings to support company goals, status reporting, and department improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-38534/5.
RF SoC Technology expertise is strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills and proven track record of process development and implementation.
Experience in manufacturing, product assembly, and design engineering environments.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Engineering (Bachelor's degree) or related field of study (Bachelor's degree); applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Additional Information
This position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware controlled by ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. Candidates must be able to obtain necessary U.S. Government export licenses.
Pay Range: $133,567 - $170,149 annually. Compensation varies based on location, education, and experience.
