Job Description

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a PE-firm who is seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant to join their team on a 2-3 month project. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.

Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Hybrid - Phoenix, AZ

Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hour

Job Type: Contract (2-3 months)

Key Responsibilities:

Support month-end close activities across eight legal entities.

Extract, validate, and post financial data into Sage Intacct.

Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist with foreign currency accounting under the supervision of the Controller.

Support audit and lender reporting preparation.

Qualifications:

Strong month-end close experience in multi-entity environments.

Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.

Experience with foreign currency accounting is a plus.

High attention to detail and strong technical accounting skills.

Team-oriented with a flexible mindset.
