Job Description
Technifab is looking for an Engineering Project Manager. In this role, you be part of our engineering team and take ownership of product development and manufacturing projects involving foam and other materials, turning concepts into finished products, assemblies, and kits. You will manage timelines, coordinate resources, communicate with customers, and ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and validate customer source data for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
Respond to RFQs and customer inquiries with detailed estimates and lead time analysis.
Define and manage project scope, timelines, and costs using APQP practices.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and budgets.
Lead technical discussions with customers, integrating the Voice of the Customer (VOC).
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace standards.
Represent Technifab in customer visits, engineering summits, and technical reviews.
Support product engineering, development, and the hand-off to operations and quality.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce waste and variation.
Monitor project performance against KPIs and drive corrective action as needed.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management (preferred)
5–10 years of experience in product development, prototyping, or machining
10–15 years in manufacturing or process engineering
Proven track record of 10–15 years in technical project leadership
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong communication (written, oral, and technical)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Access, and 3D modeling (SolidWorks and/or CATIA)
Excellent planning, organization, and presentation skills
Deep knowledge of product and process engineering, cost estimating, and tooling
Familiarity with materials properties and aerospace manufacturing standards
