Position Overview

Schedule: Full-time, day shift with weekend rotation

Salary:

BSW: $51,000 – $70,000 (based on experience)

MSW: $56,000 – $78,000 (based on experience)

Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off

Qualifications

Licensure: Current Ohio license required

Education: Bachelor’s (BSW) or Master’s (MSW) in Social Work

Credentials: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC required

Experience: 1+ year preferred

Key Responsibilities

Provide social work services through comprehensive assessment, intervention, and resolution of patient needs

Develop and execute discharge plans tailored to individual patient circumstances

Apply supportive counseling and crisis intervention techniques

Facilitate support and education groups to assist patients in developing effective coping strategies

Serve as a liaison between the hospital and community organizations

Stay up to date on legislation affecting social work practice and adhere to Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board standards

Overview

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.

Experience in clinical counseling, case management, or related fields is preferred.

Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and practices.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Familiarity with home community care practices is an asset.
