Salary: $120k - $160k/yr (DOE)
Job Summary: We seek a Senior Business Transaction Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly skilled attorney with a strong background in corporate and transactional law, and a passion for serving growing businesses. This is a senior-level, primarily remote position offering the opportunity to work directly with firm leadership, mentor junior attorneys, and take the lead on complex transactional matters.

What You’ll do:
Lead and manage corporate transactions, including small size mergers and acquisitions, business partnership, business structuring, and joint ventures
Draft, review and negotiate franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements
Draft review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, NDAs, operating agreements, and purchase and sale agreements
Provide strategic legal counsel on governance, compliance, risk management, and growth planning
Oversee legal due diligence and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on transactional closings
Advise clients in matters relating to real estate, commercial leases, and business operations
Contribute to firm development by mentoring junior attorneys and supporting strategic initiatives
What You’ll Need:
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant legal experience in corporate and business transactions
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state. Texas licensure is preferred but not required
Demonstrated success negotiating and closing complex commercial and real estate deals
Strong business acumen and ability to align legal strategy with client objectives
Experience managing client relationships and supervising legal staff is highly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities
Must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
Please Note: This position requires the ability to attend in-person quarterly meetings at our Dallas, Texas office. All other work may be performed remotely.
