Developer III (COBOL)

Job Description

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Developer III to work with a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require 3 days/week onsite.

What you'll do:

Conduct systems analysis and design.

Analyze specifications and develop applications for information systems.

Create detailed specifications for complex programs.

Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain applications.

Define project scope and objectives for system modifications.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of application development, QA, and integration in mainframe, midrange, or PC/LAN environments.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

Team player who can work under pressure.

Experience with mainframe COBOL, APS (COBOL Code Generator), and DB2.
