Responsibilities

Work with Engineering team to build Pony’s next gen robotaxi vehicles

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Perform repairs efficiently and to top quality standards.

Conduct inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, safety regulations, and workshop standards. Perform final inspections to verify repair quality.

Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including parts used and time spent.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience, with a proven ability to handle complex issues.

Deep knowledge of modern automotive systems and onboard diagnostics (OBD).

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a technical or vocational automotive program preferred.

Self-motivated and great dedication to work, strong desire to make improvement and pursuit of perfection

Strong technical communication/documentation skills with attention to detail

Basic ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagramsPreferred Experience

Work experience in autonomous/Robotaxi industry

Familiar with CAD tools, hands-on experience on material selection and defining fabrication process from the given technical drawings

experience in manufacturing machine operation e.g. CNC and rapid prototyping e.g. 3D printing

Experienced in electronic soldering, wiring and rework

Provide support to the product design team, brainstorm optimal solutions for fabricating parts and assemblies, validate designs and manufacturability across the product design cycle

Practice in using GD&T dimensioning, Bill of Materials (BOM) and standard operating procedure (SOP)

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 Annually

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on many factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation and this role may be eligible for bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
